[Nfbc-info] FYI FW: [NFBT] Presidential Debate

It was not, however, discussed. Neither candidate has given any real time to
disabilities, and neither has put forth any concrete proposals on what they
will do to create a more inclusive environment for us.

Best Regards,

I Just voted for this question. I would like to let you know, that in
yesterday's debate between the running mates disability was mentioned in the
end.

I saw this on another list. This is NOT a political rant. We all should vote
to insist that the candidates are asked about disabilities. We as a
collective group have been conspicuously absent from the discussion. Please
read on and then vote. When you encounter the captcha area simply check the
box that says that you are not a robot.

No, this is not a political screed. I just want to let you know that the
next presidential debate is scheduled for October 9, and the moderators from
ABC and CNN have agreed to consider including the top 30 questions voted on
by the publi as a part of the debate. One of the question being considered
is, "How would you value people with disabilities in your presidency." It is
currently ranked at number 75. We would like to move it into the top 30 so
that it might be included. Please vote for this question, and share this
information with people in your network.
