On November 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 1155 Market Street, please join us for "Doing Well, Doing Good", a for a complimentary dinner and workshop on how you can leverage your current assets to create an income stream during your lifetime and also leave a gift to support LightHouse and create a meaningful legacy.

What is planned giving?

Planned giving is any charitable giving other than a simple, immediate gift of money to charity, which often involves tax and legal planning<https://lighthouse-sf.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f40e17a83bbae60b5969a0798&id=00ec717a76&e=5a7b8c6aaf>. This workshop will focus on charitable giving with life insurance, as well as three different types of retained income strategies: Charitable Lead Trust, Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts.

This workshop covers the details of each type of giving to help you select your best option. Perhaps you have experienced LightHouse programs first-hand or are simply a caring and compassionate community member. By making a bequest or other planned gift, you can acknowledge LightHouse for the Blind in a meaningful way and make a lasting difference for the LightHouse and for your own personal legacy.

Our Presenter Matthew Dennis is from the East Bay where he still resides today.
