Whether it’s a contract job doesn't matter as far as they are concerned as you will have earned money from working for the next several months until the end of the school year.

Well since it is through May 24 of 2018 it's a contract type of job. I don't know if I have to renew or what after the school year is over but anyway I'll figure this out and keep you guys updated thank you guys so much for your input.

You will have to notify Social Security that you have started working and you will most likely lose your SSI benefits unless they will consider this as a trial work period. Based on the salary you quoted your Medicaid will most likely become share of cost where you may need to pay a certain amount for any health care before they pay anything. Unfortunately I can't be more specific as there may be other circumstances that may change some of the outcomes.

I will start hopefully in two weeks just have to wait for a braille display which is on its way and I have to meet with my boss on Monday, tomorrow, and I do a TB test on Monday, then a fingerprinting on Tuesday, and I have some forms to fill out.
