Caution is always warranted in this brave new world, but for what it's
worth, I can personally vouch for Ms. Prokopenko. I have met her personally
as have others I know and trust. She is legit, and her outreach is genuine
and not a scam.
Inviting her to an NFB event is still a great idea! She was at the national
convention in Orlando, but I think a smaller event in the bay area would be
a great way for her to meet people... National conventions, especially for
those visiting from overseas, can be a bit overwhelming.

In my humble opinion, and for your own safety, it would be better to invite
and welcome Adrijana to an NFB event.
I am not saying that this is not a legitimate email, but, I am also not
saying that it is.
Welcome to the Brave New World.
