After attending the Washington Seminar we have much work to do. Contacting
our California representatives is a must!
Californians, please contact your congressman/congresswoman and ask them to
co-sponsor the following issues:
1. Accessible Instructional Materials in Higher Education Act (S.
2138/H.R. 1772)
2. Access Technology Affordability Act (S. 732/H.R. 1734)

San Fernando Valley Chapter
Have you ever found yourself wondering if the answers your Rehab counselor
gave you didn't seem correct? If so, you will want to join the members of
the San Fernando Valley chapter as they learn their rights as a client of
the Department of Rehab. Not a client, you should still attend as you could
assist someone in the future. Rebecca Hoyt a client assist program
specialist will give you all the information you need and answer all of your
questions, on Saturday, March 10th, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The location is 18321 Clark street, Tarzana, the cross street is Reseda
Blvd. Please rsvp by Wednesday March 7 so we can provide enough chairs and
materials for everyone.
