Friends,

State convention time is here, November 7-10, 2019! We now have
registration <https://tinyurl.com/nfbca2019> and bus sign-ups available at
the following URL, soon to be posted on the main page of the NFB of
California website:

https://tinyurl.com/nfbca2019

We also have amazing exhibiter and sponsorship opportunities available. The
exhibiter and sponsor form will likewise be posted on the NFB of California
website <http://www.nfbcal.org/board-of-directors/> , nfb.cal.org, very
soon.

Please spread the word and make sure you register before October 15 to take
advantage of early discount savings. More than 370 people from California,
were able to attend the national convention in Las Vegas; many were there
for the first time. As we descend on Silicon Valley at the Embassy Suites
Milpitas, let's make this state convention our best yet. Spread the word:
registration is open! Invite a friend and introduce them to the
life-changing experience of our philosophy and collective action. Topics of
interest will include: updates on self-driving vehicles currently in use,
the benefits of ABLE savings accounts, creative career options for blind
professionals, changes in Department of Rehabilitation services, assistive
technology tips, advocating for the rights of blind parents, Braille and
e-book access, and many other engaging and thought-provoking discussions
about blindness and self-determination. The final agenda, website
convention page and other promotional resources will follow soon.
