*Voyagers Imagination Station*

Come get creative with Vista Voyagers! Voyagers will utilize their
imagination to create unique clay figurines. Often our students are not
fully included during school art class, but here the project and materials
are designed specifically for a multi-sensory approach. The classes will be
taught by Angel Munoz who studied art for over 12 years and teaches with
kindness, a gentle hand, and playful spirit. This is a great opportunity to
develop fine motor skills, demonstrate self-expression, and make new
friendships. There will be three different art sessions, broken down by age
group.

Sunday, January 23 at Vista Center, San Jose

Playful Critters: Ages 5 - 10 from 12:30 to 2:30pm forming a fun and simple
project, often an animal

Undercover Creators: Ages 11 - 22 from 3:00 to 5:00pm designing a more
complex project such as a mug or wall art

Please RSVP by January 16th by registering using this link

Lions Club and Vista Center are partnering together with an exciting
volunteer opportunity!

Vista Center San Jose has been designated as the location for monthly
delivery of approximately 100,000 eye glasses which will be prepared and
shipped Internationally to Prisons and other identified partners who will
provide the eye glasses to those in need. Let’s put those skills we’ve been
learning all year to good use while giving back to the community.

Here’s more information about Recycling for Sight

Lions are in receipt of 100,000 or more used eyeglasses every couple of
months through an anonymous corporate relationship. The recycling
prescription eyeglasses are distributed to the needy in Lions in Sight and
Lions Clubs International sponsored international medical missions.

This will be a monthly event so if you can’t make it this month, you may be
able to make it some other time.

Lunch is served.
