[NFBC-Info] Disability Community Resource Center survey study on work experience and career guidance

I am writing to request your assistance in distributing a brief survey. The
Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC) AWE Program is conducting a
study on work experience and career guidance for individuals aged 18-30 with
visual impairments. We would like to partnered with NFB along with the
Department for Rehabilitation, who have agreed to participate in our survey
that focuses on career choice versus current job market opportunities.

 

The DCRC AWE Program is looking for feedback from individuals with visual
impairments regarding career choices, biases, and pressures they may face
from family members or career guidance as a result of their impairment.

 

The responses to this survey will help us evaluate the current job market as
it relates to participants' career interests. This information will enable
us to design a targeted Adult Work Experience (AWE) that better suits this
community and their career aspirations.

 

The survey is very brief and will only take about 5 minutes to complete. You

and your responses will be kept confidential. The DCRC AWE Program staff
