>> •Scholarship report by Jeffrey Sims standing in for Arrieta: it was decided at a board meeting that 20% of all fundraising monies will be donated to the scholarship committee. President Rochelle said she would donate $10 a month to the scholarship fun and Jeffrey and Charlotte matched her by donating $10 a month to the scholarship fun as well.
>> •Fundraising committee: Charlotte stated that the popcorn fundraiser overall was $1744.00. We will get half of $1619.00 from the double good popcorn and President Rochelle received a $125 cash donation. Charlotte said our next fundraiser will be president Rochelle‘s play and also the upcoming barbecue that we have on the fourth Saturday in August. Charlotte also stated that we can do fundraisers at restaurants as well. Vernell also suggested that we go bowling as a fundraiser. President Rochelle also discussed her upcoming play and how she is going to organize casting date and location.
