Heads up!  Long Beach is in LA county and a normal Access trip for most of us.  If you have the time the aquarium is a great venue.  I gently touched jelly fish, sharks, and rays.  They also have audio descriptions for the exhibits.  The main hall has had musical and dance performances and art exhibits. During regular hours there are behind the scenes tours for a small fee where you learn about  the animals and the resources necessary to care for them. Not sure if they will be offering these at night.  
The link below has a special area in the Ticket section where you can order your free tickets.  Look for the link labeled, "Reserve your tickets here," in the Ticketsd section. Reservations are limited.  You can reserve up to 6 tickets.  If you need 7 or more tickets call (562) 590-3100, extension 0.   Hope you can make it!
