Are you interested to go cycling in the sun? Come join the Hearts For Sight Foundation for a two-hour exercise cycling in the sun!

At the last chapter meeting I made an announcement about a bike ride event organized by the Hearts For Sight Foundation. This event is this Friday, April 6, 2018.

We have rented 4 Surrey bikes. Surreys are 4 or 6-seater bikes. Each bike will have a sighted captain.

Where: We will be riding along the coast of Long Beach Pier.

Meeting Place: Wheel Fun Rental, 429 Shoreline Village Dr., Long Beach 90802
                Cross street is Pine Avenue

Cost: Donation of $10.00

Meeting Time: We’ll all gather between 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
                We will ride from 11:00 to 1:00 PM

Then we will go to late lunch (or early dinner) at the Yard House Restaurant right after the ride. The Yard House is located in the same complex as Wheel Fun Rental.
                Yard House Restaurant – 640 Shoreline Village Dr., Long Beach

Lunch is from 1:30 or 2:00 PM (depending on how soon we can get back to Wheel Fun) until 4:00 PM. Please bring extra funds for your lunch.
If you’re taking Access Services, please make your trip back home around 4:15 or so.
