Hi All, it was great to hear everyone’s voice yesterday during our chapter meeting and on the social call Friday night. Just sharing The Blind Stokers website and other resources that I am using.

Those that are interested in tandem cycling The Blind Stokers Club out of northern San Diego County is a great organization for outdoor activities. I am a relatively new member of the organization, but the sighted and blind members are all great people to affiliate yourself for outdoor exercise. Their website is blindstokersclub.org. It’s free to join the organization.

For those stuck inside for one reason or another during this COVIDD-19 please consider signing up for Sero. It’s available on your PC, and an APP on IOS and ANDROID and you will have access to a variable of blindness resources including podcasts, audio description movies and television shows that are up-to-date. I believe there is a free trial period and the basic service is $5.99 per month. If you want to share any great movies and TV shows that are worthwhile watching please let me know.

Below is a link to free audio description movies (audio only).

Feel free to reach out (remember social distancing please) if you have questions and please have a Corona beer on me.

Stay safe and look forward to seeing everyone after this pandemic.

All the best.

Joe
