[NFBC-SFV] Possible quarantine

 Hey Keith, it's great you and your Mom are negative! Hope her sore throat gets better. Yeah, it's tough not going to parties, especially Filipino  parties with all the great food!  Yumm, lumpia, I can just taste it, smile. 
Hopefully once kids 12 and under qualify for vaccines things will get back to sort-of normal. Nothing we can do about people who refuse vaccinations, but I do want kids and people who are vulnerable to be as safe as possible.
Thanks for letting us know you and your Mom are ok. Please tell her, "Hello, and feel better soon."

I’m probably tough but I’m Firm with everyone including my mom who is 77.    So the next time my aunt and uncle invite her to another large Filipino party she will say no.   The party they went to in Orange County was indoors.  There were 100 people, lots of food and some of the people had no masks on.  Some of them weren’t vaccinated either. It was a 60th birthday celebration. I like parties with lots of food but it is not yet safe to go to them.I will be happy to share on the social call what the  process is like for scheduling swob tests online.

Yesterday afternoon we my mom and I got the Swob test for Covid even though
we are both fully vaccinated. She along with my uncle and aunt went to a
party last Saturday August 7 in Irvine. My mom expressed her concern because
there were 100 people and indoors.  My aunt said we shall be ok On Thursday
my mom started coughing up a storm Friday was worse so I said I think you
got it from the party. True she said so we got tested yesterday.  She felt a
little better yesterday and today.
So we are waiting for our swob results.  It will take 3 to 5 days I normally
do not send our these kinds of messages Thank you
