We are seeking a talented & creative individual to serve as a Student Professional Worker. The Student Professional Worker will have the opportunity to conduct policy research, support commissions, conduct policy research, participate in community outreach, support our social media efforts, and develop diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. 

This part-time job will require 12-20 hours per week with a maximum of 1040 hours per year, at an hourly rate of $18.11. Eligible applicants include current students enrolled in a recognized college or university in a concentration related to civil and human rights, such as political science, ethnic or gender studies, history, or criminal justice.

We are recruiting applicants to serve as the Assistant General Manager of our Discrimination Enforcement Division. This individual will launch and operate the Division, which investigates discrimination in the private sector areas of commerce, education, employment and housing. 

The Assistant General Manager - Discrimination Enforcement Division will be a member of the Executive Team, and oversee a team of investigators, legal fellows, volunteers, and others to enforce the LA Civil and Human Rights Law.

Admission to practice law in California with civil, criminal trial, and/or administrative hearing experience or experience implementing and managing discrimination complaint processes is required.
