[NFBC-SFV] Nfb Pledge/One Minute Message

Hello all,

In preparation for our meeting tomorrow, I wanted to share the Nfb pledge and Nfb one minute message that we should all know by now so that we are able to participate alongside the designated chapter member who will be residing the pledges. I hope you’ll take some time to practice and participate during the pledges tomorrow at our meeting. Looking forward to hearing/seeing everyone tomorrow.

NFB Pledge
I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National Federation of the Blind;
to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind;
to support the policies and programs of the Federation;
and to abide by its Constitution.

NFB's One Minute Message
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
