[NFBC-SFV] Blatant discrimination against people with disabilities by Access services here in Los Angeles county

hello all,

I want to share with all of you a brief but very encouraging update regarding this matter. A few minutes ago, I received a response back from our state president Tim Elder. He is going to put me in touch with somebody in the national office so that this situation can be properly documented in the event that others are having similar problems. Furthermore, he expressed an interest in speaking with me, and I presume others who are experiencing similar happenings, to get greater details about this blatant discrimination, and to find out if there are other para transit providers in the area who are also discriminating against their disabled riders. I would suggest that any of you who have experienced similar treatment by Access services reach out to him as well so that all of these things can be properly documented. Thank you again for taking the time to read this and most especially, thank you to our state president Tim Elder for understanding the seriousness of this matter.

Regardless of how one may feel about mask wearing, this is about a clear lack of equality while riding public transit. This absolutely  interferes with the philosophy of "living the lives we want", it's discrimination and denial of our civil rights, holding us back and it needs to stop.
