This was a topic discussed during a meeting I attended hosted by the NFB of Colorado.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Hand sanitizer<br></div><div dir="ltr">You will need:<br></div><div dir="ltr">3 Parts isopropyl alcohol (you can substitute 140 proof Everclear)<br></div><div dir="ltr">1 Part aloe Vera gel<br></div><div dir="ltr">Essential oil as desired (tea tree, eucalyptus, or lavender have antibacterial properties)<br></div><div dir="ltr">Container for storage<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Instructions:<br></div><div dir="ltr">Mix 3 parts isopropyl alcohol to 1 part aloe vera gel. Add Tea tree oil or other essential oil, if desired.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Disinfectant Spray<br></div><div dir="ltr">Ingredients:<br></div><div dir="ltr">12 fluid ounces of isopropyl alcohol<br></div><div dir="ltr">2 teaspoons of glycerol or glycerin, for moister<br></div><div dir="ltr">1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide<br></div><div dir="ltr">3 oz. distilled water (substitute boiled and cooled water)<br></div><div dir="ltr">Few drops of essential oil<br></div><div dir="ltr">Pro tip: consider using oil other than lavender so that your disinfectant spray stands out :)<br></div><div dir="ltr">Spray bottle<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Directions:<br></div><div dir="ltr">Add all to spray bottle. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Disinfectant wipes<br></div><div dir="ltr">You will need:<br></div><div dir="ltr">1 roll paper towel,<br></div><div dir="ltr">1 tablespoon bleach<br></div><div dir="ltr">If you do not want to use bleach, use a different disinfectant cleaner, such as Mr. Clean, Pine-sol, Lysol, but make sure it is a disinfectant. Vinegar and baking soda are not disinfectants.<br></div><div dir="ltr">2 Cups water<br></div><div dir="ltr">Serrated edge kitchen knife<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Directions:<br></div><div dir="ltr">cut paper towels in half with serrated edge kitchen knife.<br></div><div dir="ltr">Mix 1 tablespoon bleach to 2 cups water<br></div><div dir="ltr">Place each side of paper towel roll into a air tight container. If you are using a tall container, it can be used as a dispenser.
