That's odd. Did you try uninstalling some of the google apps that have most 
likely invaded your system? I went in and removed google desktop as i hear 
it is a security hole. Just go to add/remove programs and see the junk 
installed by google.  I was amazed.

I did that, first thing.  It didn't work. I hit the blank homepage button,
then Apply, then OK, and this darned Google is still there next time I
open IE.
