Yes there's a good reason. You can look at RSS feeds, for one thing. 
Also, some other stuff works better but can't think of it for the moment 
as I've used IE7 for over a year. When it opens up, hit Shift+F6 to get 
away from the address bar.
I don't think it's that easy to back out of IE7.

Last week I updated Internet Explorer to 7.0, but I don't like it.  It
puts extra junk up on whatever web page I visit first in the day, and it
acts erratically when I look at my email on the Web.  Can I go back to 
IE
6 if I do a system restore?  Is there a good reason to put up with IE 7?
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I don't think so.
