[nfbcs] scanner recommendations

Thank you for your suggestions. Actually, I've been looking at a few
myself, and I found a couple that I like. Most are in the $200 to $260
range. I don't care so much if they'll work with open book or k1000,
since I don't use either of those packages, although using their lists
as a baseline is a good idea. I'm one of those guys that uses a
mainstream OCR package, currenly omnipage. If the scanner is twain
compliant, and both 32 and 64 bit drivers are available it'll probably work.
I had an HP Scanjet that I liked, but when my girlfriend and I parted
ways a while ago that was one of the things she got out of the deal. I
just haven't replaced it yet, and figured I'd see if anyone here had
something they really liked before I decided on something. I haven't had
to buy a new scanner in several years, and you know how these things can
change. It's a bit more urgent now than it was before because I'm going
to be heading back to college and I'll need a scanner for that.
