[nfbcs] Keyboard missing backslash

I don't know about backslash, but we have an old laptop with no applications
key and no windows key. Now I know the applications key is shift+F10 and
windows key is control+escape.
But suppose you need a windows key to use as a mode key? for example,
windows+e to call up windows explorer, and the host of other similar
commands? Is there a way to finger those? or is that laptop just not capable
without a separate USB keyboard?
Just wondering.
Happy typing.

One sneaky way to do it if you use a scriptable screen reader would be to
use the keyboard manager in that program to map something else as the
backslash. You might need to use a different keyboard to do the mapping.
