[nfbcs] Suggestions for GPS

Remember that if you do have a screen reader on board, you may be able to
access the carrier's GPS application. Verizon and Sprint both have good
voice guided turn-by-turn directions for driving and pedestrian modes. The
maps are always updated, and although you're paying a monthly rate, it's far
more affordable than paying a lump sum up front. Android now syncs up with
Google's navigation feature. The iPhone has an equally affective GPS app,
and Windows Mobile has several options from which to choose. In other
words, don't feel as if you have to throw down a fortune for Mobile Geo.

"Wayfinder Access" is probably your best bet on your n82.
However, they recently announced that they are no longer going to be
developing the product. You can still buy a license, but there will
be no future updates.
Mobile Geo runs on Microsoft Mobile devices, which won't run the KNFB
reader, so that's not much of an option in your case.
Other options get more pricey. There's the Trekker Breeze (from
humanware)
I'm pretty ignostic on all of these choices. If I needed to buy
something like this, I'd probably still go for Wayfinder, but you
should do so with your eye wide open.

Finder will run on your N82. How it compares with stand-alone
systems you might purchase I can't say. I believe the prices
approximately $400.
