[nfbcs] Line spacing in Microsoft Word 2007

1.  Go to the Page layout tab.
2.  Tab through this ribbon until you reach the Paragraph button.
3.  Hit enter on the paragraph button.
6.  Hit Tab until you reach the control for line spacing.
7.  Arrow up and/or down to set your line-spacing as desired.

Here is how Jan Brandt recommends getting around the line spacing issue.

One of the things I've found hard to transition to when using MS Office 2007

Word is that each time I press enter, it double spaces.  I personally like 
to be in control of my own white space.  Here's a tip I discovered to force 
Word 2007 to single space:

Close any open documents

Press alt h for the home ribbon
Press g for style set submenu and press right arrow to open
Arrow down to Word 2003 and press enter

You will then need to set this as the default style set by doing the 
following:
Press alt h for the home ribbon
Press g for style set submenu
Press s to set as default
