Java Access Bridge 2.0.2, for which an Early Access release is
currently available at http://jdk6.java.net/6uNea.html, is indeed
aimed at providing support for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit. We will
provide more details as we get closer to our final release date, but
in the meantime feel free to test this Early Access and provide
feedback.
Thanks,

Hi
Sailesh,
Â
I
was speaking specifically to version 2.02 of the JAB that
was posted to Early Access at the link I referenced below.
I didnâ¬"t see any announcements about it posted to this
list.
Â
Thanks.

Bridge and Windows 7
Â
Hi Anders,
What version of Java Access Bridge can I
use If I have Windows 7 operating system on my computer
(please send me information about 32 and 64-bit)?
The latest version of the Java Access Bridge - version 2.0.1
- is not designed to install or work properly on Windows 7
environments, nor on 64-bit environments. There are reports
of hand-installation working on 32-bit Windows 7 with
security privileges turned off, but we haven't verified
those.
Will you still develope Java Access
Bridge (I means that the newest version of Java Access
Bridge is one year old)?
Oracle has made no announcements about a release date for a
new version of the Java Access Bridge. The bridge is
something Oracle products utilize, and addressing the
shortcomings of version 2.0.1 is important for Oracle as
well.

Anybody have any information on this? Iâ¬"m
assuming that there arenâ¬"t any assistive technologies on the
market currently supporting the 64-bit JRE.
