Laura:

I still use O E on my old machine with XP.  As for Office 2010 versus 2007, I can't truthfully make a valid recommendation although I suspect that 2007 has more of the accessibility bugs worked out.  But I really haven't found much difference between Word 2007 and Word 2010.
