[nfbcs] Mac Keyboard Navigation Question

I use two different Macs. On one Mac, I have somehow managed to change the navigation so that it no longer repeats the letter if you switch arrow directions (if this does not make sense, I can explain further). I wish to replicate this change in settings on the other Mac, but I have no idea how I did it in the first place. Does anyone know?
