[nfbcs] installing windows 7

hi.
got a toshiba a300 satellite psag4a 2300 and now looking to install windows 7 professional.
now i have two particions.
a main c drive and a 80 gb or 75 gb hidden particion.
when i do a custom install, will it preserve the two particions.
and keep my hidden particion.
if not, i need to use toshiba disk creator, which is not accessible with jaws i think, and i need to purcahse a few blank dvds.
please give me the information, and what i need to keep this.
in future, i need to do a factory restore, in the future.
