Sorry that I can't do a decent description of the Java access bridge. 
/smile/ I have it, as a Linux user. I've heard discussions of installing 
it on Windows. I think. Like I say. No font of information there.

Still, I use LibreOffice to open and save word documents and am really 
happy with how little trouble or loss there is. I haven't done anything 
advanced with it yet, but I am really happy that I can use Linux and 
still share documents with Windows and Mac users!
