Tracy:
You may update your Java -- in fact, I would recommend it -- as there have
been some security holes identified in releases prior to Java SE 6U31.
JAWS works fine with properly-coded Java (I think it's actually "javascript"
in this case) if it's done from a web page; it's programs that are coded in
Java that have problems under some Java environments.

Subject: [nfbcs] MLB Gameday audio
We had a consultant here looking at another machine, so I had him look at
my netbook and MLB Gameday. I had him load the page with speech turned
off, and it didn't load completely. He said it had errors, but wasn't
sure what from. He thought the page uses Java, and my Java could be out
of date.
I thought I'd heard that Java does not play well with Jaws. I'm anxious
about updating Java, if it's only going to make things worse.
Any thoughts?
Tracy
