[nfbcs] Moving Default Folders in Win 7

To follow up to my other message and reply to Jim, it looks like
Microsoft only recently introduced symbolic links to Windows. To be
clear, this probably involved work at the NTFS layer. Back in the days
of NT, Windows supported posix, but I'm not sure if symbolic links
were part of that work.

As for shortcuts, they're just files of binary blobs (totally opaque)
that contains metadata like location, name, etc. Resolution probably
happens at the application layer (i.e. explorer.exe).

Plenty of speculation, but can't really verify without source :).
