Susie:

Outlook handles attachments differently depending on the format of the
message, which you can determine by reading the title bar when the message
is open (Insert+T if you are using JAWS for Windows).

If the message is not (emphasize "not") in the rich text format, you can
shift tab to the list of attachments and then use your left and right arrow
keys to focus on the attachment you want. Then, press the Applications key,
arrow up to Open, and press Enter to open the attachment.

If, on the other hand, the message is in the Rich Text format, there is
really nothing for it but to save all of the attachments by selecting Save
Attachments from the File Menu. Then, use Windows Explorer to find and open
the files you have just saved.

Sincerely,

Curtis Chong

Subject: [nfbcs] imbedded attachments in an outlook message

Hi Everyone,

The subject says it all. There are files imbedded within the message. I
tried to tab to them. Jaws said the name of the pdf file but I was unable
to open it. What is the method for this type of message?
