I am seriously behind in email. Try

1. Rooting JAWS cursor to the check box.
2. Left Click while in JAWS cursor mode. Do not try space bar or enter.
They are ignored because the person who created the form did not create them
correctly.

Thanks, William

Subject: [nfbcs] Help with Word 2003

Help! I have a Word doc with tables, and I'm supposed to check the
appropriate box. I have Word 2003. Jaws says it's a "field", and a
checkbox, and I can't figure out how to check it. I've tried space, left
mouse, braille display click, and putting an x, but the box remains
unchecked. And the x showed up somewhere else. So how do I check the box?

It's one of those dumb forms for Human Resources, so naturally it has to
be as big a pain as possible.
Thanks for any advice.
Tracy
