The "Building Windows 8" blog from Microsoft continues to serve up interesting information, and a heads-up for what we may be dealing with in future versions of Windows. The July 17 installment at
  http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/07/17/designing-the-windows-8-touch-keyboard.aspx
describes the research and decisions that went into Microsoft's implementation of the on-screen keyboard for Windows 8 apps running in the Metro mode on a touch screen. How this will work with Narrator, JAWS or Window-Eyes is anybody's guess, but it's interesting reading, anyway.
