Gary:

I myself have used Total Recorder ($20) for simple editing tasks. For
conversions I use Switch fro nchsoftware.com, and for more complex editing
tasks, I bought the APH Studio Recorder program ($200).

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Subject: [nfbcs] Recommendations for an audio converter and file splitter

I have been using Goldwave for some time to split and convert audio files. I
always forget whether it is supposed to be yellow or green for navigation
and sometimes I have a terrible time editing the file after loading. Does
anyone have a quick tip to share off list or a simpler interface using an
inexpensive program? I record in WMA and MP3 and like to convert to MP3 for
files I share.

Gary
