[nfbcs] Automatic Numbering in Word 2013

Hello:

    I have just begun to use Word 2013. When Word starts to number
something, I backspace to remove the number.

Using jaws 14, windows 7 and word 2013.  Does anyone know how to turn off
automatic numbering in Word 2013?  Thanks in advance!
