Folks,

I was attempting to use the differencing feature in Visual Studio 2012 with
JAWS 14. This option displays two files, side by side, and changes the
color of those lines not contained in the other file. I had two problems.

1. I could not switch from one window to another. The differencing option
has two windows, side by side, showing both files to be compared. The
cursor was stuck in one window, and I could not move it out of that frame.
I tried using the JAWS cursor to find the other frame, but this proves
almost impossible for you are usually driven to the bottom of the screen,
outside the code frames.

2. I could not read the colors of the lines that had been changed. As you
cursor down, the line your cursor lands on, is selected, and is given the
color that represents a selected line. I tried various JAWS speech and
sound options ((alt+insert+s), but that did not work.

Any thoughts on how to compare files?

I will port these files to Linux and use the diff option.
