Find the Trust Center and tell it you want to turn off some of the
protection it has turned on to keep you from loading a dangerous file.

Hi, Suzie,

I have the same issue. What I end up doing is using the JAWS cursor to go
into the toolbars above the text and searching for a button labeled "Enable
Editing". I then route the PC cursor to the JAWS cursor, which simulates
clicking that button, and from there on in, the doc is editable.

Subject: [nfbcs] word 2010

Good afternoon Everyone,

I have had Windows 7 at home for a long time. I just got Windows 7 at work
and and I am getting along well. Actually, I like the start search box
because I put in the application first few letters and it comes right up.

Now, I am having a problem when I bring in an Email with at attachment and
Word says the document is protected. I can't seem to find where to click to
read it. I have been able to send these things on to my home computer and
read them with Word 2007. Is there a setting in 2010 I can change so I can
read protected documents?

Susie
