Hello:

Autodesk software products include Autocad, 123d, Inventor etc. These
are Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and as such are not accessible. A
user uses a mouse to draw shapes and position components. It is possible to
use a haptic interface such as GeoMagic Touch, but I don't know if the basic
controls are accessible. I tried a GeoMagic Touch with one software package
known as Claytools, but needed to use ALT from U-R-Able in order to activate
the menu. More research needs to be done in this area.

Regards,

Robert

Subject: [nfbcs] Project Lead The Way and AutoDesk

Has anyone heard of this software called AutoDesk which is a program used
for people taking the Project Lead The Way engineering educational courses?
Do you know anything about accessibility or the lack thereof? Can it be
used with either Zoomtext, MAGic or perhaps iZoom?

Thank you.
