[nfbcs] Slightly OT Where Does Firefox Store Cookies

Does Firefox store cookies as files in a directory like Internet Explorer?
When I used Internet Explorer, I had a Java program that I made for myself
that would clean the cookies without first sending them to the Recycle bin.
However, now that I use Firefox, this obviously does not work. If I knew
where the Firefox cookies were stored, I could make my program clean those,
too.
