[nfbcs] Convenient OCR HOW TO?

I'm pretty sure that it is in 13. If you want just the current window
OCR'ed, then press JAWS key (insert and/or backspace depending on what
keyboard layout you are using), then o, then w. JAWS says, "OCR started."
Then "finished.", and the JAWS cursor is active. As soon as you switch back
to the PC cursor, you lose the OCR.
Okay, this is kind of silly, and it would take a long time, and you
would not have the formatting, but, theoretically, if you wanted to save
what you had OCR'ed with the latest version of JAWS, you could read the
entire screen and then, given that the history was long enough, copy the
speech history.

Steve et. al.,

Can you tell us again how to use the feature?
What version of JAWS was it first in.
I have 11 & 13 on my machine, do I have access to it?
I've never used it! LOL! (Of course, I -am- a noob tho... )

Ian

: Nicole,
:
: Thank you. I was aware of the feature but not the name for it, and I
apparently misunderstood that it could be run outside of JFW.
