[nfbcs] Convenient OCR

Steve:

Convenient OCR is a feature in JAWS which provides optical character
recognition of data on the screen. It sometimes works, but I have not been
one to depend overly much on it. If you have graphic images of text,
Convenient OCR is supposed to be able to try to get text out of those
graphics.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Curtis,

What is Convenient OCR?

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

the image without another program. The approach of stopping JAWS,
capturing the image by copying it to the clipboard, then pasting the image
into Word can work, but this, too, relies on Convenient OCR, which (unless I
am
missing somethiing) may the the only OCR solution you have on your computer
at work.
