[nfbcs] JAWS and Wells Fargo

I have not used that website, but here are some thoughts. Does restarting
JAWS fix it? No, that is not a good solution, but, if it fixes it, then it
is probably JAWS that is causing the problem. What happens when you press
JAWS key Z to toggle the virtual cursor?

Subject: [nfbcs] JAWS and Wells Fargo

I have asked about this before here and have received some answers, but is
there anyone out there who knows what caused the specific problem with JAWS
and the Wells Fargo web site? The reason I am asking again is that I had
understood that it had been fixed for JFW 15, and several people have
written to me privately saying that the site works fine for them. However,
I know of four people here in Minnesota having trouble with JAWS not seeming
to think that the Wells Fargo sign on page is a web page at all. I have
been able to duplicate this on one of my computers using a demo of JAWS 15
and Internet Explorer 11. I even made sure to download the latest version
of JAWS 15. Once JAWS encounters this page, its Virtual Cursor seems to no
longer function properly on any web pages.

I have not determined if JAWS 16 completely corrects the problem because the
fix was said to work with JFW 15 and a couple of the people experiencing
this are not in a position to upgrade right now. I am suspicious that there
is something specific that needs to be done, maybe an internet Explorer
setting, but I have not figured out what it would be. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
