I would have forwarded this to the blind programming list, program-l at freelists.org, but you didn't include an e-mail address or phone number.

Hello,

My name is Stephanie Ludi, a faculty member in the Software Engineering Department at the Rochester Institute of Techology. My student researchers and I are working on a project and we are seeking volunteers who are visually impaired to participate in some short programming-related tasks using a version of Google's Blockly to assess the degree to which audio interfaces help with code navigation in a visual programming interface. The session is done remotely via Skype and can take up to 1 hour. Participants should be visually impaired, and we are particularly interested in participants who use screen readers. Also, participants should have some experience in computer programming. Participants will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card.

If you have any questions or are interested in participating in either (or both) studies, feel free to contact me.

Thank you,
--Steph
