[nfbcs] Computer Stubborn to Power Up

Hi,

Sorry, jumbled the facts in my head.
After reading again, the first common sense thing is to check another
socket/get a new power strip.
That's much cheaper than a service call!

Please move one of those working devices on the surge protector into the
outlet you originally used for the computer. What happens? I suspect
that device will not work any longer. Now move the test device back to
its original outlet on the surge protector and try running it what
happens? You could have a blown outlet on that surge protector but that
blown outlet does not prevent remaining outlets from working.
