There is also a way to get a password specific to each application you are using. It does not matter if it is Outlook, some other browser or your iPhone. Each one is considered separate. If I remember right, Gmail makes the password for you, and sends it to you in a text message. You then have to copy it into the application that you want to be able to access Gmail.
