Subject: LightHouse-SF Maker Fair Made Accessible

Come to the Maker Faire Made Accessible Weekend with the LightHouse for the Blind in San Francisco May 18-22

What is Maker Faire?
Maker Faire describes themselves as the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show-off what they have made and to share what they have learned.
LightHouse-SF is making the world renowned Maker Faire in Silicon Valley accessible with a long weekend of experiencing the Maker Faire, Maker activities at the LightHouse-SF headquarters and special guests speakers who are blind makers themselves. People who are blind or have low vision ages 18-35 from all over the nation will not want to miss this opportunity for interactive, accessible and creative fun. Explore the festival with a team of Oracle staff.
