Hello Jessica:

I highly recommend an 80 cell braille display for doing homework,
coding etc. You may be able to wait, but be prepared to advocate for one. A
braille embosser that can handle 11X11.5 fanfold paper would be helpful for
printing out a program or other documents. Its nice to be able to grab a
hardcopy braille reference when you are coding and not have to switch back
and forth. Sighted programmers have print references, therefore you should
have braille references. When acquiring equipment, absolutely always handle
the equipment yourself and feel the braille out. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Robert
