Kathy,

I am having a good deal of trouble with JAWS 18 and to a lesser degree 17
with focus issues. The most common problem is JAWS loosing focus. However,
often I am finding that the information on a web page is incomplete even if
I wait a while until I ALT-TAB out and back into the window. I have also
found that turning the virtual cursor off and back on with JAWS KEY and Z
will sometimes improve things. Having recently moved from Window-Eyes to
JAWS, I may not be understanding everything I need to regarding JAWS, but I
am finding a lot with which to be frustrated even while finding some good
things.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Subject: [nfbcs] Issue With JAWS and Windows 10

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and have been having issues with
various web sites not reading properly.

I am using Jaws 18, latest version, windows 10, and IE11.

When I go to linkedin JAWS will not read anything but the menu items. Wen I
use JIRA, many times, JAWS will only read the page header. This occurs when
I try to create a JIRA Defect.

Any suggestions?

The only suggestion I received from FS was to use Control-TAB or F6, neither
of which worked.
