Great: I remember that feeling even if I experienced it some years ago! ;)
The problem you’re facing relates to the world of sizing and positioning controls. Once you feel confident with Objective C or Swift, Xcode and the iOS development basics I *strongly* suggest reading the auto layout guide from Apple:

but be ware that we, as VoiceOver users, have to use slightly different procedures for creating constraints in InterfaceBuilder.
