It doesn't hurt to ask Greg Gay, the course instructor, but I don't think
so. Particularly since all aren't available all the time and there are no
prerequisites listed on the course description page. I think they just said
third so they could advertise that they're invested in the field of web
accessibility

No need to be a developer I'm sure, just so long as anyone taking the course
has enough Javascript knowledge for ARIA to make sense. I'm only guessing
though.
